AFTER THE STORM CARE
for Washington, Oregon, and Idaho

Our Mission & Vision
After the Storm Care is a nonprofit ministry, solely run by volunteers, dedicated to providing spiritual hope and practical assistance to individuals and families who are displaced during a storm or who have lost their home and/or business due to a recent natural disaster. We endeavor to help people through that critical time during the storm experience, and during the aftermath of a storm, when they are faced with unbelief, heartache, loss, and uncertainty. Our approach is rooted in Christian values: empathy, compassion, and a deep desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve, leading people to Jesus and His word for hope and comfort.

All donations to After the Storm Care are tax-deductible and go directly to support our mission.
What We Do
IMMEDIATE AID
Our first step is to offer an emergency supply kit to each storm-affected individual who is displaced during a storm. Emergency care kits are tailored to meet the immediate needs of babies, children, teens, and adults. Kits may include, but are not limited to: a backpack of essential items for personal care and hygiene, a small first aid kit, a blanket, children's clothes, water, uplifting Bible-based literature, and an application for further assistance.
ASSESSMENT
After we receive an application for financial assistance from someone who has lost their home and/or business as a result of a natural disaster, we will verify identity and conduct a thorough assessment of need before sending a one-time payment to help with some basic necessities such as: lodging, food, clothes, and transportation.
PROVIDING FINANCIAL HELP
An individual or family who has lost their home and/or business is provided with a one-time payment to help them better manage during this critical time as our ministry's funds allow, whether or not they have any other funds available to them.
Who We Are
We are a team of compassionate volunteers giving of our time and resources to help make a positive difference in the lives of those who have been tragically affected by a natural disaster. It is our heartfelt desire to do what we can to share the love of our Creator through tangible and spiritual means.
